What magical stories
the old castles tell,

the lore and the legends
we all love so well
of gallant young Irelan
whose passion and fire
live on in our hearts
to delight and inspire.

Brave heroes unvanquished
still stand at these walls
and minstrels' bold ballad
still ring through these halls.

Our spirits yet thrill
to the wild, festive dances
and night adventures

Footnote: Kylemore Abbey is really a large Victorian
mansion built in his lifetime by Mitchell Henry (1826-1910), 
a wealthy Liverpool merchant. 
After Henry's death, the abbey was settled by a convent
of Benedictine nuns who established a school there.
