I hear the bells this
Christmas Eve,
Echoing God's message in
sweet retrain.
Precious carols fill the
wintry air-
poet hearts rejoice,
silver bells proclaim.
From the distance come
soft tinklings
of Merry sleight bells in
the night,
Diamond icicles sway in
jeweled festoons,
Sparkling in the glow of
haloed light.

Silver stars spread a
gleaming rainbow
Of glimmering, gold-spun
light;
All the world seems
filled with radiance,
So peaceful and still in
the timeless night.
Chiming bells ring for
each of us
God's glorious blessings
from Heaven above,
For Christmas is God's
wondrous miracle
That fills our hearts
with eternal love.
